Meleagris Gallopavo = The Genus Species name for Wild Turkey
The MG Collection was created as an ode to the bird, itself. While turkeys are often referred to as longbeards, hens, jakes, gobblers, toms, ghosts, and occasionally the cause of an incurable obsession, all roads of modern terminology eventually lead back to the birds' biological name tag of Meleagris Gallopavo.
As hunting culture, tactics, and innovations continue to advance by the season, the bird itself has remained the same from generation to generation, nationwide and regardless of subspecies. This collection acknowledges and respects the very bird that effortlessly consumes a turkey hunter's mind today, just as it did our ancestors' years ago.
